Situated in the prime location that is Ariapita Avenue, (the place to be and to be seen), it is no wonder that Coco Lounge is one of the most popular establishments of its kind. One can’t help but admire the antique finish that the lounge boats due primarily to the fact that the exterior walls date back a century. It definitely holds a charm that can’t easily be duplicated. Bars are strategically located both inside and out, making drink purchases all that more accessible. The courteous & pleasant wait staff, (who knew they existed), are also on hand to take orders from their extensive drink menu.

With a different theme every night, the DJ is sure to represent with the appropriate selections, so be warned. Find out what theme it is on the night you choose to attend or you could “take a chance” and expose yourself to a previously unexplored musical genre.

Of course, no “hot spot” comes without its rules. The number one being the dress code, which as I have witnessed, is strictly enforced by the firm, yet pleasant staff. Security is tight but the limited available parking can be an inconvenience. A small price to pay though, for good music, good drink and definitely, good times.
